​The Mountain and the Stone was conceived in its entirety in a dream several years ago and finally realized by the ensemble Fear for the Dust. The piece of music is an ode to the beautiful and dangerous badlands, deserts and forests which I have inhabited over the years of my life. It was composed in hopes of capturing the loneliness, the raw beauty, and the desolation of the wastelands of the America and the wastelands of the mind.
